Sunset boat cruise between Santa Apolónia and Belém on the traditional boat “Sejas Feliz”.

The sunset cruise lasts approximately 2 hours and starts at the Ribeira das Naus pier, Cais do Sodré. During this shared cruise, you will have the opportunity to see wonderful landscapes of the historic center of the city, passing through tourist attractions such as: Praça do Comércio, São Jorge Castle, Alfama, National Pantheon, Santa Apolónia, Cacilhas, Cristo Rei , Ponte 25 de Abril, the Tower of Belém, the Monument to the Discoveries, the MAAT and the Ajuda Palace. After sunset, the colors of the sky change and create an incredible experience, with the help of the wines from the southern region of Setúbal that we serve at will during the tour. What to expect:

This two hour boat cruise along the Tagus River in Lisbon runs from Alfama to Belém. You will travel on an open boat and see the sights of the Tagus River. The onboard reviews provided by the guide ensure that you do not miss anything. As soon as you leave, you will see the incredible area of ​​the port area between Praça do Comércio and Cais do Sodré, Ribeira das Naus, where many of the Portuguese explorers’ ships were built. After that, there is Praça do Comércio, the largest square in Lisbon and also one of the most emblematic symbols of the city, which was rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755.

On this cruise you will have the opportunity to admire some of the most incredible monuments and buildings of the city: the Castle of St. George is a Moorish castle overlooking the historic center, the Lisbon Cathedral is the oldest church in the city built in 1147, and Alfama is the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon. The Church of Santa Engrácia is a monument of the sixteenth century, which in the twentieth century was converted into the National Pantheon. Cristo Rei is a Catholic monument built in 1959. The Ponte 25 de Abril is a suspension bridge of 2.3 km.

Belém is also visited on this tour and has two unique monuments and two UNESCO heritage sites: the Jeronimos Monastery and the Belém Tower. They are two jewels from the crown of the Manueline style Gothic cathedral. The Monument to the Discoveries is a monument located along the river, from where the ships set off to explore and trade with India and the Orient, the monument celebrates the Age of Portuguese Discoveries during the 15th and 16th centuries.

At the end of the sunset cruise, you will be taken back where the tour began.
